Plastics Group of America Honors JB Hunt Transport

Company Wins TPG’s Prestigious “Carrier of Year” Award

(Woonsocket, Rhode Island – February 8, 2016) – Bob Lebeaux, president at The Plastics Group of America (TPG), announced today that the company has awarded its “Carrier of the Year” award for 2015-2016 to JB Hunt Transport.

Each year, TPG designates one of its shipping vendors as its carrier of the year based upon the quality of service it provides to the company. Metrics include timeliness of deliveries, responsiveness to company inquiries, and overall attention to detail. This past year, JB Hunt Transport went “above and beyond” by providing TPG with detailed diagrams on how to load its trucks. Along with optimizing weight allowances for each load, it also created a safer environment inside the truck for those both loading and off-loading materials. Offering these beneficial specs, in combination with achieving and maintaining an exceptional on-time pick-up and delivery record, made this an easy choice.
