The Plastics Group of America Names Brian Marcoulier Its Director of Manufacturing
New Position Will Focus on Improving Process and Processing

(Woonsocket, Rhode Island) – Bob Lebeaux, President of The Plastics Group of America (TPG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Marcoulier as the company’s new Director of Manufacturing.

A 1989 graduate of the University of Lowell with a B.S. in Plastics Engineering, Brian is exceptionally well-qualified for the position, having worked at a variety of companies for the past twenty years in a number of roles. He has worked as a technical service engineer, a product development engineer, and most recently, at Clariant as a Technical Manager. During his career, he has, at different times, been responsible for Q.C., Quality, and Product (formulation) and Process Development (Twin Screw Compounding).

At The Plastics Group of America, Brian will be concentrating on providing technical support to TPG’s valued customers as well as doing extensive product development. While TPG’s line of custom-compounded Polifil® products is expansive, capitalizing upon Brian’s applied expertise, there are opportunities for creating additional formulations that its customers will find even better-suited for their applications.

When asked why he joined TPG, "I decided to join The Plastics Group of America to get back to a privately-owned company where customers are the focus, a growing organization with an entrepreneurial atmosphere to “Get things Done."

TPG’s President, Bob Lebeaux, stated “we are pleased to be able to add Brian’s exceptional experience and talents to the TPG staff. Having held a number of different positions within the plastics industry during his career, he possesses working knowledge that will enhance our productivity and efficiency, both on the plant floor and in the managerial offices.”
